Wild Animals React With Curiosity, Vanity and Hostility at Mirrors That Were Placed in Their Respective Paths

French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre traveled to Gabon in Africa to set up a number of mirrors around different locations in order to capture the varied reactions that the resident wild animals would have when they gazed upon their respective reflections.

Each animal had a different reaction – a leopard purred at his reflection, a gorilla challenged his reflection, an elephant ignored her reflection and a group of chimps just sat in front of the mirror with open curiosity.
