A Day in the Life of a Mount Tamalpais Fire Lookout

Photographer Gary Yost created “A Day in the Life of a Fire Lookout,” a short documentary on the peaceful routine and spectacular views he enjoys as a volunteer fire lookout atop Mount Tamalpais near San Francisco. The film includes beautiful time-lapses of the Bay Area, the ebb and flow of the fog, and the night sky.
