British Man Living in the US Rates How Believable American Accents Are by English Actors

Inspired by the number of British actors playing residents of Hawkins, Indiana, in Stranger Things, the amusingly candid Laurence Brown of Lost in the Pond looked at how well other British actors were able to portray a “typical American accent”.

After watching the recent conclusion of Netflix’s Stranger Things, it got me thinking about some of the best and worst American accents I’ve seen by British actors.
