German Orchestra Performs a ‘Super Mario’ Medley

WDR Funkhausorchester performed a playful orchestral medley of music from the Super Mario franchise. This five minute performance, which was originally composed by Koji Kondo, was recorded live at the WDR Funkhaus Wallrafplatz in Cologne, Germany in August 2025.

The “Super Mario Retro Suite” by Koji Kondo, performed by the WDR Funkhausorchester under the baton of Enrico Delamboye.
