Eye-Opening Interviews With a Child’s Nighttime Monsters About the Dangers of Daylight
Simon Meyer of PROMPTR conducted eye-opening “interviews” with the monsters whose primary purpose is to occupy young Mila’s room and scare her at night. Each monster shared what they do and when they first noticed Mila wasn’t scared of them anymore. They ventured out to see what goes on in Mila’s life when they aren’t there, and discovered the horrors of daylight.
I have never seen a monster so terrible in my entire life. Children are supposed to be afraid of the dark. That’s how it’s meant to be, not of the day.
This short AI film, which was made with Kling 4.0, was created in cooperation with NO MORE, a nonprofit working to end domestic and sexual violence that runs the NO MORE Global Directory of helplines and support services around the world.
We at PROMPTR teamed up with NO MORE to create a film with AI that’s relevant to many people right now. We wanted to use our skills to create something with impact – something that normally isn’t visible, but should be. And we wanted to use AI the way we think AI should be used today.
The film closes with a UNICEF statistic that one in four children worldwide lives with a mother who has experienced intimate partner violence in the past year.
