Pianist Plays Bach on a Quiet Clavichord

Musician Lord Vinheteiro performed a piece by Bach on a clavichord, an early keyboard instrument used during the composer’s lifetime that largely fell out of use in the 19th century. Its quiet, expressive sound made it particularly well suited to practice and composition rather than public performance.
