“Extn.21″ by British animator Lizzie Oxby is a darkly beautiful stop motion animated short film about a man trying to be heard. The film’s main character is inventively portrayed using a blend of animation and live action video (an actor’s head is composited on to the animated body). The film was released in 2003 for the UK’s Channel 4.
