East Village Street Art Tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman by Ink Lungs and the Centre-fuge Public Art Project

Street artist Michael DeNicola aka “Ink Lungs” has collaborated with the Centre-fuge Public Art Project in creating a commemorative mural to Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who tragically died on February 2, 2014. The mural is located in NYC’s East Village between First and Second Streets.

Fans of the East First Street open-air gallery will recall that this was the same trailer end-cap utilized by Danielle Mastrion to honor fallen Beastie Boy MCA (Adam Yauch) in May 2012. – Bowery Boogie
