Time Lapse of the Blizzard in New York City

Grace Raver of Tech Insider created a time lapse video showing the snow accumulating in New York City during the recent Mid-Atlantic blizzard.

Superstorm Jonas almost broke the record yesterday for the largest New York snowstorm when it dropped 26.8 inches in Central Park. The all time record is 26.9 inches and was recorded in 2006.

However, the storm did break the record for most snow fall in one day and dropped more snow on the city in that day than the average for an entire winter, which is 25.1 inches. Here’s what it looked like on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
