The Lincoln Memorial in Gingerbread

Patti Paige of custom bake shop Baked Ideas has created a gingerbread cookie sculpture of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. (with the humorous addition of ear muffs and mittens). This edible Abraham Lincoln is on display at Le Parker Meridien hotel in New York City, where visitors can vote for their favorite gingerbread display to benefit City Harvest.

Did you know that gingerbread was one of Lincoln’s favorite things?
