Swaddled Flying Fox Gleefully Devours a Couple of Grapes at a Bat Rescue in Sydney, Australia

A hungry swaddled flying fox named Sully gleefully devours a couple of grapes that have been put in front of her at a bat rescue in Sydney, Australia. The clip is part of a much longer video that tells Sully’s wonderful story in full.

Sully is a Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was found on the ground under some children’s playground equipment. She was almost dead. After 6 weeks in care she was released, still pregnant, to join the wild locals on Sydney’s upper North Shore. We hope she had a safe delivery of a healthy baby who lives long and has lots of babies.
