Stranger Buys Rose Vendor’s Entire Stock on the Subway With a Request That She Give Them All Away

In June 2013, a rose vendor riding the 6 train in New York City got an incredible surprise when a complete stranger approached her to buy her entire stock of flowers for $140. While doing so, he exacted a promise from her that she would give them all away. The kind stranger then exited the train, while the vendor in grateful tears remained in her seat and offered up a free rose to any rider who wanted one.
