Steve Martin talked about his return to stand-up comedy after 35 years during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show. Martin opened for Jerry Seinfeld as part of the latter’s Beacon Theater residency on February 18, 2016.
Before coming out for the interview, Martin performed a song about not wanting to do the show. He was there with his collaborator Edie Brickell to promote their new Broadway musical Bright Star which is in previews now.
