The extraordinary Mandy Patinkin, most recently of Homeland fame, did a very gracious in-car interview with Will Rubio, an ambitious young actor who was working as a driver for the Sundance Festival. During their conversation, Mandy very humbly stated how honored he was to have played the role of “Inigo Montoya” in the 1987 film The Princess Bride

We knew it was a beautiful piece. It was a joy to do it. It was one of those jobs that you felt like you should be paying them. Everybody…all of us who were a part of it…I pinch myself every day, even when you just asked me the question. There it is again, a guy just asked me about that movie I was in. I can’t believe I’m the guy that was in it.

When Will said that he had also played the role of Inigo Montoya (during college), an amused Mandy stated that they should do the line together.

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
