J.J. Abrams Reveals Footage of a Battle-Worn ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Millennium Falcon With a Batman Easter Egg
J.J. Abrams, director of the 2015 film Star Wars Episode VII, has released awesome footage on Twitter that gives an extremely close-up tour of the iconic and battle-worn Millennium Falcon that includes a clever Batman Easter egg at the end.
To understand why Abrams hid a miniature and camouflaged version of the Dark Knight’s Tumbler vehicle on the bottom of the Millennium Falcon, we have to go back a couple of months when Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, tweeted a devilish photo of Superman (Henry Cavill) holding a lightsaber. The image sparked a fun Twitter discussion between Abrams and Snyder.
