Icons Unmasked is an upcoming book, created by brilliant Chicago-based artist and b-boy Alex Solis, that will feature his amusing illustrations that reveal the true identities of iconic pop culture characters. Alex is currently raising funds on Kickstarter to help publish his new book filled with fantastic surprises.

Discover and see iconic characters like you never seen them before. Finally all masks are off and their true identity revealed.
In Icons Unmasked, I’m trying to bring a new sense of discovery to characters everyone has seen hundreds of times. I wanted to recreate the experience of what it might be like to see one iconic character from your childhood for the first time as an adult.
