Artist Creates Ambient Music by Placing an Oscillating Fan in Front of a Hanging Electric Guitar

Sound performance artist Moritz Simon Geist hung his electric guitar, plugged it into an amplifier, and placed an oscillating floor fan in front of it, creating calming ambient music. The oscillation was key: the strings, still ringing from high to low on the first pass of the fan, rang from low to high on the return pass, giving new meaning to “air guitar”.
