My friend and talented photographer Eric H. Brown of Jersey City, NJ is competing the World Beard & Moustache Championships 2007 (see my previous write-up). He is currently in Brighton, England with Beard Team USA for the championships which take place tomorrow. Eric, who has the best mutton chops of anyone I know, is competing for the title of “Sideburns World Champion” and is trying to unseat the current champion, Toot Joslin. Go Eric!

While in Brighton, Eric has been shooting some photos of his fellow competitors.

Here’s more coverage of the championships from the BBC.

Eric recently worked on Signs of Life, a photography book benefiting Gulf Coast charities.

UPDATE 1: The BBC has published some photos the WBMC.

UPDATE 2: Julia Parsons has been uploading some amazing photos from the championships.
