Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ Played in the Style of Dire Straits

Dutch musician Laszlo Buring, who is known for flawless guitar interpretations, played the iconic Dolly Parton song “Jolene” in the distinctive vocal and guitar style of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Buring said that this felt like a really good match.

Another one of those timeless songs, originally by Dolly Parton. I thought the melody of the chorus would work nice to build guitar parts on, and I think I made it work.
