Disco the Parakeet, the incredibly vocal budgerigar (“budgie”), can’t stop talking about a new joke that he learned. Unfortunately, he never got to the punch line, but he did squawk like a chicken each time he said it. Disco also promoted Popeye from sailor to general a few times and made some other wonderfully funny statements.
Disco’s learning some new phrases for 2015, and his current favorite involves a chicken and a road and the question of a crossing. Bak bak! Disco is 100% the real deal! Budgies are among the top talkers of the parrot family (surprised?), especially when given tons of love and attention.
