Dingbel, An Apple Watch App Based on the Bell-Ringing Communication Style of ‘Breaking Bad’ Character Tio Salamanca

Japanese mobile developer DeNA Co. has created Dingbel, a hilarious Apple Watch app that uses a the sound of a service bell to foster expedient communication, much in the way that the silent Breaking Bad character Hector “Tio” Salamanca communicated with the world. With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that actor Mark Margolis, who portrayed the bell-ringing gangster, is the spokesman for the app.

Hi, I’m celebrated actor Mark Margolis, and I’m a straight shooter. I’m here to talk to you about Dingbel, the greatest mobile communication app ever devised by mankind. Let me tell you why. Say you’re the CEO of a powerful global company, you need to get your message across fast. Faster than talking so what do you do, Stevo You’re damn right. Instant, ding-based communication, straight from your Smart Watch. Dingbel is simple. One ding means “yes.” Two, means “no.”
