Canadian designer Paige Russell (previously) whipped up a clever 24 “carrot” cake–that is a carrot cake made with 24 baby carrots and shaped like a gold bar. The metallic gold look is achieved by carefully placing edible gold leaf over a layer of yellow fondant on the cake. She’s made available both a detailed Instructable and an instructional video on how to make the punny cake at home.
