Writer Brian Raftery at has produced a fascinating oral history of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 television series that poked fun at terrible movies across 197 episodes from 1988 to 1999. The Wired piece includes quotes from the majority of people involved in the franchise, including series creator Joel Hodgson.
