Richard Wright

Richard Wright, Pink Floyd keyboardist and founding member, died on September 15th at age 65 after a battle with cancer.

David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has a nice tribute to Rick on his website.

The first album I ever bought when I was about 13 was Dark Side of the Moon and one of my favorite all time Pink Floyd songs was Us and Them, which was written by Wright. Sad loss for sure.

Great Musician. He's literally playing now at the “Great Gig In The Sky”. Sad for us, but joy in Heaven.
