Man, the Laughing Squid Party was totally awesome – like REALLY REALLY awesome.

Mighty is a great venue, but we arrived outside to find 20′ giant dog heads on a trailer, a steam engine, Burning Man cars, light shows, flame throwers and free popcorn…. we knew it was going to be off the hook.

We had a great time – thanks for putting it on! And happy birthday to Laughing Squid.

Ben

Yes, it was a night to remember. We’ll be telling our grandchildren about this party. Here’s the video you Freakatronic fans have been waiting for, courtesy of Vox (who needs YouTube?). There’s more videos at the same URL. And finally, here’s me pontificating on Jonathan’s Coffeeblog (before the party! How did I know it would be so great?) comparing Laughing Squid to Zürich Dada and the Cabaret Voltaire. Is that chutzpah? Judge for yourself.

My videos of the freakotronic and twilight vixen shows and the photos of the party are now up.

I loved it and it was a great last night in SF.

darn it – somehow I keep missing these parties. I just never think of looking to see what is happening on any calendars because I always have something cooking. *sigh*
