How to Create a Sweet Potato and Yam Garden Created Using Only Primitive Tools and Technology

Primitive Technology demonstrated how to create a small fenced-in sweet potato and yam garden using only simple techniques. The patch is protected by a wattle enclosure that keeps wallabies and other animals from entering and eating the plants, and the soil itself is fertilized with wood ash and fallen leaves.

The garden was put in behind the daub and wattle hut created in an earlier Primitive Technology video. Other videos in the series demonstrate how to make things like charcoal, a bow and arrows, and a cord drill using similarly primitive techniques.
