Depression Awareness Ads Reveal Cry For Help When Viewed Upside Down

Depression awareness campaign

To raise awareness about the often overlooked warning signs of depression, this ad campaign for Samaritans of Singapore features messages that appear positive, but when turned upside down, reveal a cry for help (see part 1, part 2, & part 3). The double-meaning messages are examples of ambigrams, words or images that retain meaning when viewed from a different perspective. The campaign was created by the Publicis ad agency.
