A Father and Daughter Bid Each Other a Tender Farewell Before She Joins ISIS in Absurd ‘Saturday Night Live’ Parody

Dad, it’s just ISIS

In the ridiculously absurd Saturday Night Live parody “Father and Daughter Ad”, a father and daughter bid each other a tender farewell, and daddy’s little girl goes off into the next chapter of her life. A life where she doesn’t need “walking around money” or “another year of high school” or anything else that her emotional father offers to her in those final moments they have together before she joins her fellow ISIS recruits in the back of a well-armed flatbed pickup truck.

After her graduation from high school, a father (Taran Killam) must let his daughter (Dakota Johnson) go … join ISIS.

The sketch is meant to parody the Toyota Camry Commercial entitled “My Bold Dad“, where a father proudly says goodbye to his beloved daughter as she joins her fellow army recruits and walks into the airport.
