YouTube has officially launched their game streaming service YouTube Gaming to cater to the video sharing service’s large gamer base. Users can live stream themselves playing games, and viewers can easily search for live streams by channel or by a specific game. The new service pulls game-related content from YouTube, and has been in a testing phase with avid YouTube gaming channels and users until today when it was made public.
The service is a direct competitor to Twitch.tv, an existing game streaming service.
