Mount Hood

We recently visited Timberline Lodge on beautiful Mount Hood near Portland to attend Frank and Rebecca’s wedding.

Timberline Lodge was built between 1936 and 1938 as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression. Fun fact, the outside of the lodge was used for exterior shots in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 film The Shining.
