This year’s Tiki Oasis has the theme of “Hulabilly” which the describe as an “American music style derived from the blending of Rockabilly and Haole Hawaiian music.” This full weekender event packs in live Exotica and classic Surf and Hulabilly music, “Midnite at Tiki Oasis” burlesque shows, educational symposiums, an “Americana Tiki” art show, shopping, the 5th annual vintage car show, lots of tropical beverages, and plenty more. Tiki Oasis is produced by Baby Doe and Otto von Stroheim of Tiki News and happens August 15th through 18th, 2013 in San Diego, California (tickets).
