Franky Zapata has set the Guinness World Record for “Farthest Hoverboard Flight” on the Zapata Racing Flyboard Air with a distance of 2,252 meters off the coast of Sausset-les-Pins in the south of France on April 30, 2016. Zapata shattered the previous record of 275.9 meters by nearly 2,000 meters.
The Flyboard Air had its first successful test flight in April 2016 with a flight that lasted more than three minutes.
