The Dallas Morning News has featured Dale Irby, a retired physical education teacher from Dallas, Texas who sported the same outfit in every yearbook photo for forty years (slideshow). He started wearing the wide-collared polyester shirt and sweater vest combo in 1973 to look presentable and accidentally wore it the following year. His wife dared him to wear it on the third year and a tradition was born. News.com.au has featured many of the images.
