Star Trek Continues is a fan-made web series directed by Vic Mignogna that continues the original Star Trek series’ 5 year mission. The web series features a great cast and crew of Trek fans, such as: Vic Mignogna as Captain James T. Kirk, Grant Imahara (Mythbusters) as Hikaru Sulu and Chris Doohan, son of the original Scotty, has taken over his father’s role. Star Trek Continues premiered it’s first episode, “Pilgrim of Eternity,” at the 2013 Phoenix Comicon.
The premise of the series is based on the original 5-year voyage. The original series ended three years into the journey. Vic and his team are starting this new series right where the original left off.
This new series is being brought to you in partnership with Farragut Films and DracoGen Inc. – creators of the award-winning web series, Starship Farragut. The series is being shot in the original 4:3 format to keep the authenticity of the framing of the original series.
