Paul McCartney Helps a 64-Year-Old Fan Make an Epic Marriage Proposal Onstage During His Concert
Sir Paul McCartney recently helped a 64-year-old fan make an epic marriage proposal onstage during his concert at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. Paul first noticed the couple — John and Claudia of Rochester, New York — in the crowd holding up signs that read, “He won’t marry me ’til he meets you” and “I have the ring and I’m 64.” He then called the lovebirds out and brought them on the stage to seal the deal.
John started his proposal off on the right foot by singing the 1967 song “When I’m Sixty-Four” by The Beatles and ended it with his lady love saying “yes.” Paul was so tickled by John’s singing that he and his band quickly jumped in to play along.
