NASA Releases a Spectacular Earthrise Image Captured by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter

NASA has released a spectacular Earthrise image composite captured by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). The images used were captured on October 12, 2015 while the LRO was about 83 miles above the Compton crater on the far side of the Moon.
