The Media Artist Contingency Plan is meant to foil the seizure of a person’s laptop by the Man: First, a sticker is placed on the laptop identifying the location of the computer’s hard drive. Then, when the Man shows up, the laptop owner can drill a hole through the sticker and into their hard drive, thus destroying their personal data.
