Kids Rotating the Colossus Boulders at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011

Colossus

One of the main attractions at this summer’s Maker Faire Bay Area was Colossus by Zachary Coffin, a 70′ tall installation featuring 40,000 lbs of boulders that can be rotated by pulling on ropes. Needless to say this was a big hit with the kids.
