Glowforge, A Wireless 3D Laser Printer, Cutter, and Engraver
Glowforge is a wireless 3D laser printer, cutter, and engraver currently available for preorder. The unit makes use of advanced laser technology to let users engrave and create unique items. Users can load computer drafted designs, or simply draw or write their design on the object they wish to engrave, and the Glowforge can use a camera to identify and follow the design.
The Glowforge and its CEO Dan Shapiro were the subject of a recent profile by Tested that focuses on the current version of the Glowforge, as well as an early prototype.
