AMC Releases Trailer for ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, An Upcoming Companion TV Series to ‘The Walking Dead’

AMC and Entertainment Weekly have released set photos and a trailer for Fear the Walking Dead, an upcoming companion television series to The Walking Dead. It will take place before the events in The Walking Dead and follow a family who struggles with a zombie outbreak in Los Angeles. The upcoming six-episode series is set to premiere later this summer, with a second season airing in 2016.

Set in Los Angeles, the series follows a male divorced teacher, a female guidance counselor, and her two children–a son and a daughter–in the zombie apocalypse.
