DeLorean Hovercraft Flying Around the Water’s Edge in San Francisco

In 2010, San Francisco-based Matthew Riese built a hovercraft from a kit and modified to look like a DeLorean. It was recently spotted flying around the water’s edge near San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge by Terry Barentsen.

The finished hovercraft can travel on any flat surface, including water. However, it does not reach 88mph, so Matthew did not have to involve himself in any illegal parking lot dealings to obtain plutonium for the flux capacitor. (The DeLorean hovercraft’s top speed is around 45mph.)
