Cyberoptix TieLab, Creative and Hip Hand Screenprinted Ties

Detroit-based designer Bethany Shorb creates beautiful neckties for men, women and even children with her company, Cyberoptix TieLab. All the ties are hand screenprinted with high-quality waterbased inks and feature some of the most creative and hip designs out there, including octopus tentacles, lobsters, deer antlers, vinyl records and much more.

In this Make interview with Shorb, she talks about how she recently repurposed a bunch of used silkscreens and kept the unique industrial designs on them to make new ties. She will be showcasing her ties at Maker Faire New York 2011 on September 17 and 18, 2011.
