Cute–Fight is a new website project by Derek Powazek of Fray. It pits the real-life pet of one member against the pet of another in a friendly online game. Let the games begin!
Here’s how it works: You create a profile for your pet and upload a few photos. Now you’re their manager, they’re your fighter, and you can challenge other fighters to cute-fights. If the fight is accepted, it goes to the community for voting. The winner gets a virtual trophy and goes on to fame and fortune. (Note: fortune not included.)
Why do this? Because we love our pets, but it’s time they earned their keep. Because who hasn’t had Rocky fantasies? Because we’re tired of talking about ourselves online, so we might as well talk about our pets. But most of all, because it’s fun.
