Broadband Wi-Fi coming to JetBlue

JetBlue has announced it will be bringing high speed wireless Internet connectivity to its fleet starting in late 2012. The broadband connection will be made possible by the ViaSat-1 high capacity data satellite. JetBlue says its service will be exponentially faster than competing in-flight Wi-Fi services, most of which connect to the Internet via slower ground-based antenna networks.
