The Bitly Real-Time Media Map is an interactive map of the U.S. that tracks the popularity of 40 popular media sites on a state-by-state basis. The map is based on live Bitly link traffic and can be used to compare different categories of sites (newspapers, TV/radio, etc.) or zero in on a particular site’s traffic. Last year Bitly and Forbes collaborated on a similar media map that just looked at one month of historical data.
