Paramount Pictures released a teaser trailer for Annihilation, a sci-fi film directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, 28 Days Later) and based on the book of the same name by Jeff VanderMeer. The film follows a biologist named Lena (Natalie Portman) who sets out on a dangerous expedition, in an area plagued by a mysterious force, to find out what happened to her husband. What she finds is nowhere near what she expected. Annihilation is set to venture into theaters on February 23rd, 2018.
