A Short Mockumentary About Connor Redwood, A Musician Who Yells ‘Hey!’ In Songs For a Living
In this short mockumentary, Harris Alterman of DoortoDoor Comedy plays Connor Redwood, a musician who found his calling yelling “Hey!” in songs. In the short, Redwood shows off his abilities on tracks by The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeros and Henri Rabalais and relates an origin story not entirely unlike that of Hank Kingley’s “Hey now!” on The Larry Sanders Show.
I’ve been yelling “hey!” as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I’d yell, “hey! what’s that?” an “hey! let’s get some ice cream.” It just kind of became my passion.
