A Papercraft Squid Toy Made From Household Materials That Moves

Schuyler Smith of Brave Face Paper Co. has created the Paper Squid, a cute moving papercraft squid toy made of materials found around the house. Schuyler has also created a crab toy. Complete build kits are available to purchase online or you can download the templates to create your own at home.

The squid is a hybrid of traditional cut-and-glue papercraft, origami, and mechanics. It has a unique construction that allows fluid movement from humble materials and methods.
