Champion sidecar racer Stan Dibben is the subject of the short documentary “No Ordinary Passenger” by Cabell Hopkins. Dibben was the “passenger” on the winning motorcycle alongside driver Eric Oliver for the 1953 Sidecar World Championship.
In the film, Dibben looks back on his thrilling life before suiting up to take the track again at the age of 86. The 2013 film was recently featured as part of National Geographic’s Short Film Showcase.
