National Geographic’s Photo of Day on May 17th by Frans Lanting, featuring Camel Thorn Trees in Namibia, looks like a Photoshop job, but is actually a real photo.

Tinted orange by the morning sun, a soaring dune is the backdrop for the hulks of camel thorn trees in Namib-Naukluft Park.
